K.V.No.2, Chandimandir Cantt is an English medium co-educational school, located in Chandimandir Cantonment on Jessore Marg. It was established in 1988. Earlier it was functioning from barracks on the Chandigarh-Kalka main road but now it has shifted to the new double storey building which is not only beautiful and impressive but also spacious. It has well ventilated class rooms, fully-equipped computer rooms, a library, laboratory, playgrounds and spick and span newly renovated toilets. Adequate arrangement of filtered drinking water is made through six water coolers. The area of the Vidyalaya is ten Acre .There are three sections in each class from I-X , one Section in XI and XII (Comm.), one Section in XI and XII (Science) with an overall students strength of almost 1393 as on 12 Nov 2024.
